Universal Intellectual Property

The parent holds the group's intellectual property as a universal asset. It is owned centrally and protected deliberately, so that value created anywhere in the group is not lost and cannot be quietly carried away.

What the group creates, the parent owns and protects.

Every venture creates intellectual property. In most organizations it is scattered, informally held, and vulnerable. ConsciousClouds treats the group's intellectual property as a universal asset, owned by the parent and protected as a matter of doctrine.

Owned centrally, used independently

Universal IP being held by the parent does not make the ventures dependent on one another. ENO and Omni are independent products. What the parent owns is the intellectual property and the shared foundations behind them, not a single system that everything must run on.

Universal is earned, not declared

What counts as universal is settled by evidence, not intention. A capability becomes universal when a second venture adopts it unchanged, and not before. Central ownership is what lets the group protect its technology and be the enduring custodian of what graduates.
